The hotel's rooms were average and nothing special as they seemed on their website. They had good beds, a good work space, and a good bathroom. However, the room next door, which was supposed to be unusable in response to our request for a quiet room on a high floor, was not ideal – it was not too high and a bit dim with only one double-hung window. Despite this, the room was quite large with high beamed ceilings.
My stay at The Lofts was like staying in an apartment. The rooms were on the dark side, and mine was not ready upon check-in, which was a bit disappointing. However, the convenience of being in the heart of downtown Columbus across from the convention center was a major plus.
